Tough choice - CHANGE

John Legg: Florida parents will choose from the best educational ...

I have always felt that it is best to give examples to see that you get your point through. So I will start off with a story.

Are you aware that the Eagle has the longest life span of its species! It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this extraordinary life span of 70 years, the eagle has to make a tough choice.
When the eagle reaches the age of 40, its talons become weak and can no longer grasp its prey within  them. Which automatically would mean that it would go hungry for long periods of time. Secondly its long sharp beak starts to bend due to which it cannot eat.
You think that this is the end of its predicament?
Last but not the least, its aged old wings start sticking to its body thus not allowing it to fly.
Just imagine the predicament of the eagle. Not able to FLY for survival.

Nature gives everyone a chance to CHANGE. Animal or man.

So the eagle has to make a tough choice now. DIE or bear a painful process and CHANGE.

A lot of eagles opt for the second choice. CHANGE

If the eagle chooses CHANGE it is a very painful process spread over 150 days.
The eagle first flies to the top of a mountain. The first process it undergoes is breaking its beak. Yes you heard correct. It hits its beak on the boulders of the mountain and breaks it. So that a new beak can come.
Once the new beak forms, the first usage of the new beak is to pluck out its useless talons. After this the eagle starts to pluck its own feathers so that  new feathers can emerge on its massive wings.
This painful three tier process takes 150 days.

Change is scary ….. but is also inevitable … | iiteeeestudents

Why does the eagle opt for the painful process? So that it can live for another 30 years. It is a REBIRTH of the eagle.

Why should anyone choose CHANGE? To survive? No. To THRIVE. To soar once again like an eagle. To prove to oneself first and foremost and than to the world that life has given you a SECOND INNINGS

Ask yourself this. During this period of being forced to stay home, have you thought of CHANGE in your life? For the better. To move out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. Being positive. Open to new challenges. To embrace / control your ego. To adapt, transform, challenge yourself.

Like the eagle, the choice is yours - CHANGE and soar to new heights or accept the inevitable and become secondary in life.
